Mechanical Updates

The Mechanicals on this C6 Corvette are in excellent condition.  Lots of information below:

Engine

Stock LS2 400 hp engine.  Has never been abused during my use. Previous owner appears to have taken pristine car of it as well.  

• Engine has been well taken care of with freqent oil changes using Mobil 1.  

• Plugs were changed at 85k miles.  

• Water pump and AC line replaced in 2023.

• New AC Compressor.

• Battery was just replaced in March of 2024. 

Driveline

• Transmission, Torque Tube, and Differential were all upgraded with the intention of adding a supercharger.  This never happened, but the newer and stronger TR6060 transmission, torque tube, and differential from a low milage 2008 plus C6 corvette was transplanted into the car.  This was a $4,000 upgrade for the parts alone.  

• Monster clutch capable of supporting 600 hp was implemented with the driveline. The clutch shift and feels close to stock, but is an upgraded clutch and pressure plate.  

• Remote bleeder valve was added for easy bleeding of the clutch cylinder.

Exhaust includes the upgraded C6 exhaust with sound valve.  Push the buttons on the center console to switch between loud and quiet!
